Many Sites, One Server
UniSoftCoEach site has its own database, its own login to it, its own uploads and its own backups.
A company running four sites should not be learning four panels, and should not be risking one site because of a mistake on another.
What is separate
Everything. Its own database. Its own login to that database, which cannot reach the databases beside it. Its own uploads folder. Its own backups. Nothing is shared and nothing is mixed.
What the manager can do — and what it cannot
One site is the manager. It says which address belongs to which site, whether a site answers at all, what it is called, and it creates new ones — a database, a login, the whole structure, the first administrator and a starting set of pages, in one act.
It cannot touch another site's content. There is no screen that edits another site's articles and no address that could. The manager writes to the register of sites and to nothing else.
A change does not need a restart
Every server re-reads the register every thirty seconds. Nothing is pushed at anybody, no list of servers is kept, and a server that was switched off while a change was made catches up simply by coming back.
